Founded in 1946, the Montreal Alouettes came into being as a tribute to 425 Squadron, the first francophone squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force, renowned for its tenacity and courage. Their motto, “Je te plumerai”, has become a symbol of resilience and determination—values that are still closely associated with the Alouettes organization today.
